About this listen

Read by a full cast of narrators.

Discover The Atlas Paradox, the dark academia sequel to viral sensation The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake – a No.1 Sunday Times bestseller.

Inside the Alexandrian Society alliances will be tested, hearts will be broken and all must pick a side.

Six magicians were offered the opportunity of a lifetime.
Five are now members of the Society.
And two paths lie before them.

In this thrilling next instalment, the secret society of Alexandrians is unmasked. Its newest recruits realize the institute is capable of raw, world-changing power. It’s also headed by a man with plans to change life as we know it – and these are already under way. But the cost of this knowledge is as high as the price of power, and each initiate must choose which faction to follow. Yet as events gather momentum and dangers multiply, which of their alliances will hold? Can friendships hold true and are enemies quite what they seem?

Critic Reviews

Blake brilliantly uses fantasy trappings, and plenty of cliff hangers and twists, to tell a story that leaves readers questioning everything they believe to be true in the world she has created (Library Journal)
The Atlas Six introduces six of the most devious, talented, and flawed characters to ever find themselves in a magical library, and then sets them against one another in a series of stunning betrayals and reversals. As much a delicious contest of wit, will, and passion as it is of magic, this book is half mystery, half puzzle, and wholly a delight (Holly Black on The Atlas Six)
Lethally smart. Filled with a cast of brilliantly realized characters, each entangled with one another in torturously delicious ways, The Atlas Six will grip you by the throat and refuse to let go. Olivie Blake is a mind-blowing talent (Chloe Gong on The Atlas Six)
The Atlas Six will thrill those who love twisted plots, twisted relationships, and morally grey characters ready to kill for knowledge and power. Dark, ambitious, and engaging (H. G. Parry on The Atlas Six)
Coolly horrific, brilliantly brainy and utterly compelling (Daily Mail on The Atlas Six)

Loved the story! Unfortunately Parisa’s sexy drawl and Callum’s deep voice are missing those mid tone notes so it can be hard to understand what they are saying when played on speaker. Performance was great but I recommend headphones for these chapters. Loved the Tristan, Libby and Nico chapters.

Difficult to understand the Callum and Parisa chapters

The multiple actors that make up this cast do a phenomenal job. sometimes their narrations don't meet the others, the main one being Callum which only like 2 characters try to pretend is South African. Otherwise they really bring this story to life, without it I don't think I would be as engaged with the story. The story meandered it's way with the last section really pulling punches.

Atlas Ensemble succeeds again!

I was looking forward to this. Haven’t even been 1/3 into the book but both Callum and Parisa’s voices are either whispering or shouting. Especially Callum - it is so strange where within the same sentence he whispered than shout. This is really annoying with the overacting or just lack of audio control.

Strange volume level issue affecting enjoyment

good book and yet hard to flow along to as it jumps around, a lot. The voices were really annoying - awful and cringe worthy to listen to; and the volume kept changing and made it difficult to listen to in the car.
overall o.k but I just wished they had much better speakers. it ruined the listening

this book was more interesting than the last one, shame about the narrators who were awful to listen to

This book just lost me a little. It was super slow too in my opinion

The full cast is amazing
