About this listen

Ananna of the Tanarau abandons ship when her parents try to marry her off to an allying pirate clan. But that only prompts the scorned clan to send an assassin after her. And when Ananna faces him down one night, armed with magic she doesn't really know how to use, she accidentally activates a curse binding them together. To break the curse, Ananna and the assassin must complete three impossible tasks all while grappling with evil wizards, floating islands, haughty manticores, runaway nobility, strange magic, and the growing romantic tension between them.

Took a bit to get used to the audio but I love this book and it was a different experience the reading it myself

One of my favourite books

Not a complete waste of time, I guess it could be an ok book for something to listen to in the background.

The narrator sounds like she's trying to be a 10 year old girl which is at odds with the character who has a love interest.

Uneventful

So first of all you did abstract details at the start, but as I listened longer, I noticed it started to go quicker and to many things to imagine. It was hard because these had almost no detail. Keep the detail balanced.

Could be better
