About this listen

Over 6,000 years ago, the world's first civilization, the Sumerians, were recording stories of strange celestial gods who they believed came from the heavens to create mankind. These gods, known as the Anunnaki, are often neglected by mainstream historians. The Sumerians themselves are so puzzling; scholars have described their origin as "The Sumerian Problem."

With so little taught about the ancient Sumerians in our history books, alternative theories have emerged. This has led many to wonder, What is the true story behind the Sumerians and their otherworldly gods, the Anunnaki?

In The Anunnaki Connection, Heather Lynn connects a diverse range of new and existing theories about the Anunnaki, offering a definitive guide to Mesopotamian gods while exploring what role they might have played in engineering mankind. The Anunnaki Connection traces the evolution of gods throughout the Ancient Near East, analyzing the religion, myth, art, and symbolism of the Sumerians, investigating: Who are the Anunnaki?

How accurate are the current Sumerian text translations, and how do we know for sure who to believe? Is there a connection between the Anunnaki and other ancient gods? What about demons? Where are the Anunnaki now, and will their possible return spell the end of our world?

The remarkable objectivity in her arguments stood out to me the most. This is a lady that knows her lineage up til now. However she is open to changing her opinion if enough evidence is presented for her to do so. Well researched and clearly stated facts. She gives credit to others where due and I am excited to listen to more of her work. A book I’m glad I purchased. Can’t recommend highly enough for all those interested in who we are as a species.

Every human should read this

Great book based on the bigger broader picture of the Anunnaki. I listened to this audible twice.

A great listen. For people with interest and curiosity for the ancient civilisations. Finally young people are willing to step up, and go out of the scientific community boundaries and make it public.

well researched

It tested my myopic view of existence. It is my duty as a human to stand on the shoulders of people to progress our species to live long and prosper.

I have no idea how people get paid to write crap like this. basically saying their religion is better because is has more proof, yet has equally as sketchy proof as anything else? dint waste your time

This is almost two books written by different authors. One that seems well researched and based mostly on the facts as we know it. The other kicks in about the 2/3 mark and is filled with lunatic conspiracy theories and promises of proof which spoiler alert it never deliveres. Although it never goes full Bill Gates and his fellow lizard people are going to take over the world their is plenty of paranoid nonsense in this book. And the narrator is very distracting as she is clearly AI generated unless she normally speaks like a robot. It's not a complete loss and the author asks you to keep an open mind on the subject. I would agree and be open minded and avoid this book unless you enjoy a good conspiracy theories or two.

Some interesting stuff spoilt by looney conspiracy theories and AI narrator.
