About this listen
The Aikido Widow is the 10th Aikido Mystery.
Parker is thinking about the rest of his life and contemplating marriage, when a dark-haired gypsy shows up at his door, insisting on learning the esoteric art of Aikido. She is an odd one, but comes in with a fist full of money and swaying hips. Parker isn't hooked, but can't keep his eyes off her.
This novel has a darker tone than most of the Aikido Mysteries, and the torrid sex and violence are a far cry from the earlier novels. Parker has to make decisions and before his entire world is stripped from him, he needs to lash out and do what he does best. Opie Taylor returns to help him and just in the nick of time.
