Wonderful feel-good listen
I love the chemistry between the two main characters, and there were times where I had to stop the audio because I was grinning in public. The narrators were amazing and I can’t wait to hear more from the both of them. This was a lot of fun.

Surprisingly fabulous!
It started out a bit same, same as many books in the genre but it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the characters and become their biggest cheerleader. The chemistry is 🔥🥵 and the love story beautiful. My first Lauren Blakely read but definitely won’t be my last.

Loose story line for lots of steam
I mean I guess if you’re looking for steam then this is your book. The story line was really just thrown in there as a pause between scenes. Not terrible but needed more substance.

It was quick and the story did not drag along. There was just the right amount of character development and self awareness.
I loved that it was fast paced. The characters were not whinny which is something really off putting in romance novels. Their story had just the right amount of self awareness and quick decision making. It was not boring and the spice was original.

Another great read from Lauren
I really loved the flow of this book, it felt like from start to end everything happened at the perfect pace within the story. I didn't lose interest during any point and the character development felt legitimate. Loved the MMC so much in this one. Laurens books are always nice easy reads and never too lengthy.

Monroe is easily my favourite!! absolutely adored this story!! narrators did a fantastic job! i love these friends! Lauren is such a brilliant author and brings so much emotion!! absolutely loved this book!! definitely in my favourites folder for sure!!
