About this listen

Bearing His Sin

Cole should have killed Anja the moment he realized she was his mate. Instead, he let her live and now they're on the hunt, chasing the morons who think they can force her to marry another man. Like hell. And while this shapeshifting bear might have his share of sins, he's not going to let little things like murder and mayhem prevent him from having the woman meant to be the keeper of his heart.

Bought by the Bear

Josilyn Martinez just needed the money to help raise her nephew. That's it. There's no other reason she would take a job posing as a shifter's mate so he can assure his grandmother he's settled down. There's no reason to stay at his place so they learn "more about each other." And there's definitely no good reason she should get involved with the hard, hot, and handsome shifter that's hired her.

The Alpha and I

When bar owner Devon Kincaid finds a bleeding man - a hot, hard, handsome, naked bleeding man - in the snow one night, she brings him home to care for him. He's definitely not like any man she's ever met before, but what she doesn't realize is that he's not just a man....

AUDIBLE REVIEW
Good narration.
Book reviews stand but I did enjoy the silliness of Bearing His Sin more in audible.
BOOK REVIEW
3.5 stars.
EVE LANGLAIS - BEARING HIS SIN Their Furever Mates 4
I’m not sure if I love or hate this. Totally crazy nonsense that tangents off in weird directions, really funny bit just a bit too wacky for real enjoyment.
MILLY TAIDEN - BOUGHT BY THE BEAR
Liked Josie and Xander and how the grandmother was one step ahead. Didn’t feel like we had enough time with these two.
It is as it sounds, fake pretend mate is his real mate. What makes this story is the background that is happening.
Real story is the crazy ex-husband but it wraps up too quickly with not enough explanation and left me with too many questions to make this read enjoyable.
Understood Michael the ex-husband was unstable due to childhood trauma but murdering people was really low. But what happened to him?
Surely Josie would have some recourse through the courts to claim defamation against Michael’s estate. What happened to Mrs Double D, is she dead or not? I hate non-resolutions.
Would like to read Dominick’s story, was sad about his brother Trey.
KATE BAXTER - THE ALPHA AND I
Really needed to be longer to close some open-ended queries.
Whilst an enjoyable and action packed read, silly things annoyed me. They never ate any food, only drank coffee or had sex over a 30 hour period. Nobody does that especially a werewolf who needs fuel to shift.
Then the heroine Devon has to do the obligatory TSTL act. Really, who goes off knowing there is someone out there quite happy to kill them to hurt Liam.
What happened to Christoph? Had he killed the person that was found?

I enjoyed these more in audible.

What happened to her dog Mac? Should have been some info, instead of not just nothing.
