Great stories and even better that I got 2 stories for 1. Would have been much better if the male perspective was done by a male narrator though. The absence of the girls parents says it all, but it was a good HEA. The epilogue for Hook, Line and Sinker made up for the ending of the first book.

I loved being able to continue rhe story immediately with this double story. I definitely enjoyed the second story the most but they were both fantastic romances with found family, growth, grumpy vs sunshine and forced proximity. Short but sweet love story’s with the perfect balance of spice.

Book 1: It Happened One Summer

Wild Child (movie) vibes, but make it a fishing town and focus more on romance than friendship.
(Also add some hypocritical parents that blame the spoiled rich kid for being a spoiled rich kid. She doesn’t know how to make toast? Maybe because nobody ever taught her. I mean, damn)

Book 2: Hook, Line, and Sinker
3 overall (4 performance, 3 story)
This book balanced out to the same rating as the first one, but they are so different.
I wasn’t excited when the main plot came to light, but other parts made up for it. I relate more to the characters in this book and I appreciate the vulnerability that was represented, especially from Fox.
