Complex web of characters, places, technology and history. Great balance of action and narrative. Excellent narrator dealing with many accents. Thoroughly enjoyed this audio book, love the work of Neal Stephenson. ❤️

Not much to say, easiest novel to finish on audible for a while, I'm not used to narrators doing accents so I found that odd but still okay 👍

The worst Aus and NZ accents by Ballerini however. He shouldn’t have bothered as they were painful and distracting.

Yes, it's another mammoth Neal Stephenson work: this one set around 2040 and centred on geoengineering: temporary cooling of the planet by pumping sulphur dioxide high into the atmosphere. It's gigantic in scope, with several parallel plot lines. Well worthwhile. Also a great voice performance - I'm not giving five stars for it because a few accents (Australian/Scottish/New Zealand) are terrible, but the rest is excellent.
