Typical trash of the Fifty Shades trope. Manipulative filthy rich man seduces improbably niave virgin. Slow build to the inevitable graphic intercourse scenes. Very unrealistic with disturbing power imbalances just made for desperate lonely women lol.

Other than some repetitive lines throughout the book and the abrupt ending I found this to be a great read.
However I will warn that it is very predatory.

Really liked to story and the narrator, unfortunately they changed the narrator on the last book which was a shame but still great.

I was not aware when I picked up this book that it was a 5-part series based on the same couple. I was a little disappointed not to know that going in.

I enjoyed how Henry seemed to know what he wanted and went after it. Abbi seemed very innocent and a bit naive through parts of the book.

I'm curious to see where this series will go. I hope Abbi grows into her confidence, and Henry unleashes his desires fully.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible.

Oh man this narrator did a bang up job! Couldn’t stop listening! Very addictive! I think I loved it even more!

This book reminded me a lot of Praise Me by Sara Cate in the beginning. While there are similarities this one stumped me a little. I liked the beginning, I liked Abbi and her roommates, but then we started to get to know Henry Wolf. He annoyed me. The duality of his personality annoyed me. Don't get me all wrong- his behind closed doors personality was mostly hot. But he's mostly a mean person out in the open and we don't really know which one he's playing at right now.

I love this narrator, she’s experienced and brilliant. I would happily listen to her whole catalogue.

What an unexpected turmoil and journey. Great characters. I’m unsure whether this is a series. I feel I’m in the middle of a book and it’s ended. I will look for a follow up.

The voice actress did an amazing job with both characters! The story was good - ended very quickly though on a cliff hanger!
