The use of language. Very effective but at times bordering on tedious.Still the starkness suited the rawness of the story.
The difference manifested itself between Alexanda and Tatiana. Alexanda had lived long enough in TheUSA t have a Calmer approach to his existence. While Tatiana had awilfulness born of a Soviet upbringing.The conflict this caused formed the basis of the story.

I loved the compelling love story that pulls at my heart while I listen. I cry, laugh a little, and wait with baited breath to find out what happens next. I feel proud of Tatiana and amazed by the strength of Alexander. Brilliantly written and an eye opening account of love in a time of war.

I never get sick of this story. It pulls you in and takes hold. The outside world becomes a blur while you're transported to America, Russian and Germany immersed in the lives of Tatiana & Alexander ❤️

Much preferred this voice actor to the voice actor of the first book. His characterisation was much more believable through tone and emphasis rather than basing it all on accents. The story is enthralling. Will read again and again.

Thisi trilogy is a story that takes you on a journey through time and war. It leaves to wanting more. can't wait for the final book. A must for anyone for is a fan of Paulina writings.

Tatiana and Alexander is the exciting follow up to The Bronze Horseman. This version is in a slightly different arrangement than The Bridge to Holy Cross but it's all there, The same epic story. If you loved the BH then you'll love this. It answers many questions and has you on the edge of your seat, wanting to read faster to find out what happens but to go slower and take it all in. I Highly recommend.
