Uninhibited. Sarcastic. Confident. Beautiful. With a thriving photography career that allows her to travel all over the world and capture the hottest of men behind her camera lens, Cassie Phillips is the woman who can't be tamed. Adrenaline junkie. Jokester. Billionaire. Hot as sin. At six-foot-five, with muscles for days and that perfect, playful smile, Thatcher Kelly is the kind of man you don't want to deny. Wild for wild. Prank for prank. The two most unlikely of people may be the only ones to see that some personality traits only run skin deep.

Am I friends with JP Cane? Ha! That's laughable. Besides the fact that he’s adopted some far-fetched notion from the movie When Harry Met Sally that says men and women can't be friends and work together, it’s safe to say we're not friends. He's annoyingly loud, obnoxiously handsome, and has made an art out of poking all my hot buttons...multiple times a day. So you can imagine how disgruntled I am when I not only have to fly to San Francisco with him for work, but stay in the same penthouse. Yup, we're sharing the same air, 24-7. We're talking full-fledged working roommates.

Mabel "Maybe" Willis died a virgin at the very young age of 24. She leaves behind her parents, Betty and Bruce, her brother, Evan, a laptop filled with one too many Jason Momoa memes, and a Kindle library with more books than one human being could ever finish in a lifetime. Cause of death: a text message. Okay. So, I didn't die. But I may as well have. One minute, I'm a woman trying to find her way in the world, and the next, I'm the sender of six of the most embarrassing text messages that have ever been sent in the history of time - or the cell phone. For the entirety of my adult life, I've been content. Content in my single lifestyle, content in my stressful-but-extremely-successful job as the main corporate counsel for almost every Fortune 500 company in North America, and content in my playful, spontaneous ways. I had no idea it was possible for someone to change my mind. The endless women and work are no longer enough, and just as Ruby Rockford told me - it's about time I grow up.

Dr. Will Cummings is the star of a medical reality show that's practically blown up overnight in popularity, and I'm the new nurse at his practice. Unfortunately for me, I'm also the nurse who made a completely awkward first impression by introducing myself while he was in the middle of a pap smear and ending the day by accidentally showing him my ta-tas. Yes, that's right. I gave my new boss a peep show. Gah. You'd think I'd have already put in my resignation and moved to Alaska, but no. I'm still here, getting to know just how much more Dr. Will is than a handsome face.

It was supposed to be the best day of my life. But the second I got up, things started to fall apart. The kitchen just caught on fire. Flowers were from a funeral. My bride-to-be just had an allergic reaction, leaving by ambulance. Oh, and my ex-girlfriend just walked into the church. They say you have to see the signs when they are right in front of you. Maybe she was just mine to have.

I knocked up my best friend's sister. Let's start with how she decided to inform me and Pacey the news...together. Imagine that nightmare. I was going into what I thought was a hockey marketing meeting, and then bam! I'm going to be a dad and my best friend/teammate is attempting to imprint my face with his fist. Threats were tossed around, friendships were revoked, and then I was marched up to her apartment, suitcases in hand, and forced to live with her so I could take care of her every need. Now I'm finding it harder and harder not to fall for my best friend's little sister.

He's a billionaire heir. A grump supreme. Hater of people. Bigger hater of peopling with people. And my new fake boyfriend. "Emotionally unavailable" doesn’t even begin to describe Hayes Rutherford. He has more defenses than a nuclear missile silo. And he’s the ultimate catch of the century. At least, according to his bank statement. My job’s simple: Keep all interested ladies away from the walled-off heir, by pretending to be his one true love. But you know what they say about fake-dating a billionaire: It’s all fun and games, until the scandals start.

I was never supposed to see him again. Him being the man wearing the perfectly tailored suit, who oozed an intoxicating mixture of wealth, rebellion, and sex appeal. One night. No strings. No names. Still riding the high from last night, I walk in to meet my new client, and he’s wearing that same dangerous smirk. Yes, I’m consulting for Callahan Sharpe. That Callahan Sharpe. Reasons why I should not be drawn to Troy Serrano. Number one: He’s obnoxious. Number two: We were enemies more than a decade ago. Number three: He’s my friend’s ex-boyfriend. I could go on and on, really. When my boss gives me an unwanted assignment, and tells me it involves spending time with the grandson of one of our residents, the grandson turns out to be Troy. Lucky me. Four hours a week of having to deal with his insufferable personality and unsolicited advice - the only consolation is getting to stare at his annoyingly gorgeous face, in between our many arguments.

The quintessential question asked to every couple. And the answer is usually some bubbly, lovey dovey tale of being struck in the bum by Cupid’s arrow. My meet cute (well, not so meet cute) is slightly different. I was trolling a wealthy neighborhood in Beverly Hills, searching for someone to take me as their bride, you know, to make my arch nemesis jealous who consequently just fired me.

Where's my contract? 🤩

Publisher's Summary
Blind dates? Online dating profiles? Been there, done that.
Georgia Cummings has zero luck with dating, and the era of the Internet is not her friend. No matter how fast she runs, how many corners she turns, she can't find her way out of this weird, alternate universe where men think dick pics are a replacement for small talk and getting to know a girl. One more crotch selfie and she might write men off for good.
But why can't she stop fantasizing about him?
Kline Brooks is the quintessential billionaire bad boy - dark, styled, short hair, muscles for days, and a panty-dropping smile.
Except he isn't. As his employee, he won't touch her with a 10-foot pole. And she won't touch him either. Too bad their hormones missed the memo.

Hilarious, Genius and Brilliant
Who was your favorite character and why?

Have you listened to any of CJ Bloom and Eric Michael Summerer ’s other performances? How does this one compare?
I have listened to other performances by both CJ Bloom and Eric Michael Summerer's including the second in the Billionaire Bad Boy series, I think they both do an amazing job. What a refreshing rom-com!
I have to admit I didn't know much about this book going in, so the fact I was laughing all the way through it was a really pleasant surprise! The story was sweet and the writing flowed beautifully, but what most grabbed me about this audiobook was the comedic timing of the narrators, particularly CJ Bloom. I often find rom-com humour can get a little cringe-worthy, especially on audio, but there was none of that in Tapping the Billionaire. A really refreshing listen.

Sweet Funny Romance!!!
What made the experience of listening to Tapping the Billionaire the most enjoyable?
I had already read this book before I listened to the audiobook, but I love that I get to experience it in another medium. This book is not what you'd expect it to be. Billionaire? Check. Bad boy? Nope. Womanizing arrogant jerk? Not even close. But it will make you laugh and it will make you smile.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tapping the Billionaire?
One of the most memorable moments came when Kline called Georgia from his flight and asked her to give a play-by-play of a football game going on that he and Thatch had a bet on. She, not being a football fan, does not know any football lingo so they have to interpret her commentary, including her very funny nicknames for the players in the game. I was laughing so hard!
There's also a scene where Geogia has an allergic reaction and takes way too much Benadryl.
Which character – as performed by CJ Bloom and Eric Michael Summerer – was your favorite?
I really enjoyed all of the characters, but I have to say that I have a soft spot for Kline, and Thatch and Cassie were hilarious best friends. Both CJ Bloom and Eric Michael Summerer did a wonderful job! I've listened to both of them before and always enjoy their performances.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I listened to it all in one sitting!
Any additional comments?
In Tapping the Billionaire Kline Brooks is the owner of a large media company and Georgia Cummings is the head of the marketing department. One night Kline is at work and his mother calls him to tell him that she set him up with a date for an upcoming gala, not wanting to go with yet another self-obsessed floosie Kline tells his mother he already has a date. Georgia is working late at the office listening and singing along (to a very inappropriate song... It deals with her neck, her back, her...) when Kline walks in and asks her to be his date to an upcoming gala - she eventually agrees.
Let me just say that this book wasn't what I was expecting, and I mean that in the best way possible. It's got a very strong male and female lead which I really enjoyed. The billionaire romance is starting to get a little saturated but this was fresh and new. Yes, there are cliches, but that's part of what makes romance so enjoyable. There isn't a lot of angst, but it's also not all sex scenes, while there is a bunch of sex there is also a lot of substance inbetween. We get to see the day to day life of the characters, work and home life (there is an asshole cat named Walter in it), so it feels like you're invested and you care. This book also doesn't take itself too seriously, it's fun and funny and the perfect escape. I highly recommend it!

Okay, yes.
Normally I won't buy books with 'billionaire' anywhere in the title, but tried this one based on the reviews. It's a pretty good book, and frankly there was no reason for this guy to be a billionaire other than to prove that he's successful and humble. Oh, and to make possible a grand gesture over a contrived misunderstanding. For me, clever banter can overcome a multitude of ills, so I did like this book.
Did I like it enough for a credit? No. Sale? Yes.

I just can’t.
I’ve tried several times to listen to this book, but I just can’t listen to CJ Bloom’s performance. The pitch and volume of her voice can be best described as shrill, most irritating. I don’t know if I fairly rated “overall and story” catergories . I just can’t get far enough into the story. I like the author Max Monroe and Eric Michael Summerer and would choose them again but, I will also look for CJ Bloom and never choose a book that she is a narrator. Will try to return the book. I have downloaded the rest of this series and I hope “Tapping the billionaire” does not affect the other books.

Fun Story But Skip the Audio
The excerpt sounded really good and most of the reviews were favorable so I was really looking forward to this. I should preface this my saying that a lot of this is likely just based on personal preference so take it as you will.
First of I think this probably would have been much better if I had bought the e-book and not the Audible. The narration just flat out ruined this for me. The male narrator was fairly decent but the female narrator was just awful in my opinion. She overly emphasized every other word and she practically yelled the dialogue. It was horribly distracting. The dialogue itself didn't help. A lot of it was cringe worthy. The nicknames drove me nuts and some of the sex euphemisms just made me roll my eyes.
The overall story was fun and there were parts that made me laugh out loud in a good way but there were just too many nitpicks for me to really enjoy it. I don't know if it was because of the narrator but I just didn't care for the female protagonist. She just seemed too flighty. I may try another book of this author's but in e-book form to see if the audio really makes that much difference.

bebopaloopa slang plus every F word to emphasize.
I suppose if you were ten, but wait, impossible subject matter for underage readers. Level of writing is between 10 and 13. Author is in like with her own rhetoric and box banging IQ. It did bleed some true feeling maybe twice. so glad its over.

Hilarious!
Would you consider the audio edition of Tapping the Billionaire to be better than the print version?
Kinda? Sometimes during the reading of the text got me a little wired up and confused. I think also when it came to the main character and her best friend, the narrator got a little too excited I guess? She was going very fast and made it hard to understand.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tapping the Billionaire?
The benadryl incident lol So funny!
Have you listened to any of CJ Bloom and Eric Michael Summerer ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I haven't.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Don't drink benadryl & date
Any additional comments?
I thought this book was great, so much fun and the sex was super hot!
