This is about Katrina Hagan and Maddox Killingworth both wolf shifters. Maddox has always wanted Katrina and when he takes her hostage things go in directions neither could foresee and it’s all due to her stepfather and his machinations. Just when you think you know where the story is going it takes a different path, it’s full of intrigue, bad guys doing bad things to the innocent and a scorching hot attraction between Katrina and Maddox and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

the ending came very quickly. a little like the author got bored of writing. but it's better then it being dragged on. I enjoyed the book. Audio was smooth and easy to listen to

It’s a bit similar to some of the other books in the series (eg two people/animals) that always wanted to be together but the plot was a bit different so it was still a fun, short listen.
