Summary

I’d fought and lost.

Rejected, with my heat pushed off for the last time, I’m left to the cruel pack who see me as nothing more than an object.

But is it possible the Crimson Fury pack will fight to get me back?

Fragile and broken, I desperately cling to my last conviction: This time if I choose my mates, I’ll choose them for myself and not because of this dark bond. I’ll drag the alphas that enslaved me to the gates of hell before I let them steal that away.

Last time, I had to convince my mates to fall for me.

Now, it’s their turn.

Earning my heart might be the key to breaking my chains, but can Rook, Ebony, Love, and Drake become the men I will fall for before it's too late?

This is part two of a bully omegaverse duet, MFMMM why choose with dark themes. HEA guaranteed

This is one of those audiobooks where you say just one more chapter… and suddenly it’s 2am and it’s over.

Sweetheart Part 2 by Marie Mackay is a dark, emotionally layered conclusion that completely hooked me from start to finish.
The grovelling is genuinely satisfying. It hits that perfect balance of regret, accountability, and emotional payoff. Drake absolutely steals the show for me. Soft, devoted, and still making sure the rest of the pack steps up and earns their place.

Vex continues to carry this story. She is strong, resilient, and still holding onto hope despite everything she is facing. The tension of her situation adds a constant edge to the listening experience.

The pack dynamic evolves well in this instalment. Love steps into a more grounded leadership role, Rook becomes easier to understand, and Ebony stands out with a darker, more unhinged edge that makes his arc especially compelling.

From an audio perspective, the narration enhances the emotional intensity and keeps the pacing tight and immersive.
This is a plot forward omegaverse with real depth, strong character work, and pacing that makes it impossible to stop listening.
A very satisfying conclusion.

This is book 2 of a duet, and while I was excited to see what happened, it felt like this book dragged on. While I generally enjoyed this book, the premise had been set and understood and could have reduced the length of this book.

This was very low spice for this type of book. There were good emotional scenes and some humour.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible.
