I wish I'd checked before getting into this and realise it was a series. I might not have bothered.
I liked this, but not enough to commit to three more books when I feel like I've read a similar story many times.

story is good, but not one of the authors best. the characters that contained. The story ending in the middle of another event I thought it was cut-off too soon.

i saw this in the plus catalogue and thought id give it ago. Thinking it was a standalone - only to to be sucked in - throughly enjoyed the story and narration 😃 then realised it was a series of four books. Book one being the only free one - now have to buy three more just to finish . If anything it could be condensed into three. 😣

This book starts off slow but if you stick with it it picks up and now I’m left wanting to know what happens next. Overall a good short listen for a rainy weekend
