Good story but there was too much internal dialogue between the 2 characters instead of actual dialogue between Vaska & Mary during critical s*x scenes.

Considering the plot of the story, this story needed more detailed s*x scenes.

Only reason I have this audible is because I accidentally bought it.

I found the female narrator sounded a little condescending & it was hard to like Mary’s character because of Lauren Sweet’s (female narrator) voice.

The male narrator Tor Thorn did a fantastic job as he didn’t sound condescending.

storyline was a bit predictable because it was a bit of a copy of the first book but better.

Vaska was the Russian arms dealer. He saw Mary, and after being on the receiving end of her sassy mouth, decided she was his and would do what he said.

Mary was very independent and struggled with thinking of Vaska as more than a one night stand.

At times, Vaska's actions were so overbearing that it was difficult to see how it would work out. His punishments, at first, seemed extreme with no expectations set out first.

This book revisited some previous characters and seems to be interconnected.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with dual style audio.
