To find him, they must host an intergalactic spouse-search for one of the most powerful rulers in the Galaxy. Dina is never one to back down from a challenge. That is, if she can manage her temperamental Red Cleaver chef; the consequences of her favorite Galactic ex-tyrant's dark history; the tangled politics of an interstellar nation; and oh, yes, keep the wedding candidates from a dozen alien species from killing each other. Not to mention the Costco lady.

They say love is a battlefield; but Dina and Sean are determined to limit the casualties!

Wonderful!

I’ve loved this series since the first book and the only book that was less than thrilling in my opinion was Maude’s book.
This one started out a little confusing with the huge cast of characters, but as their personalities grew on the page, so did the enjoyment, and well before the end, if I wasn’t concerned for Dina’s beautifully portrayed exhaustion, which I felt in my bones, I wanted this weird, but at times hilarious contest to never end.
Without a spoiler, I was reduced to tears as a long held secret was revealed, and the end was enchanting.
Another wonderful story from this wonderful pair of authors.

It’s a banger

I have to admit it took me a little bit to get into the narrator’s voice, especially as I had just listened to the previous books in the series but I think the story drew me in and negated any issues I had. There’s nothing really wrong with her voice it was just different to what I was used to.

The story is amazing. The only downside is that the next one isn’t out already for me to dive into.

The only other issue I had was the recap prior to the chapters, I found the voice annoying and interrupted my he flow of the story for me. Again I got use to it by the end.

Practically perfect in every way.

I think this book might be Ilona Andrews Mangum Opus. I love the originality of the concept. The humour. The insights and the moments of deep introspection. I put it in the same creative genius as the movie "Everthing everywhere all at once"
And you know you have a brilliant narrator when even the narrating of the cake recipe was engaging! Nora was perfect for the book!

Innovative fantasy

If werewolves were from another world and witches were benevolent innkeepers/con siege and their magic houses were inter dimensional living creatures that exist in a symbiotic cycle with their guests and the galaxy is very complicated.

Wonderful story and excellent performance

This is another outstanding addition to the Innkeeper series and moves us a step closer to the end of the story arc. Nora Sofyan is an excellent narrator.

feeling a bit let down

I am a major fan of Ilona Andrews and the innkeeper chronicals and could and have listen to them over and over, however, this book left me flat.
Our wonderful galactic tyrant is a softy in this book, the overly dramatic chef is barely mentioned, we never find out what happens with the cops wife and the furthering of the series's arch is like a foot note at the end.
This book reminded me too much of the second book in the series, (characters differ but personalities and situations were similar).
The narration was average and was not done by Renee Raudman, (the narrater in previous books), which left me disappointed. On top of that there was an annoying, badly done upper class voice that would do a recount at the start of every chapter, which broke the flow and made me start skipping forward.
I love this series and was so excited that i put this book on pre-order, but now I feel disappointed.
Hope you all have a better experience than I did.
