Sunset is a bittersweet love story about putting yourself back together after the sky has fallen in.

Ruth and Hannah are sisters. They build each other up and tear each other down. Even as polar opposites they make each other laugh more than anyone else in the world. Ruth is forever single, aimless and wild while Hannah is radiant, organised and hard-working. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with.

But a summer holiday changes everything, and Ruth finds herself entering a long period of self-imposed exile from the world. This book is up there with the best. The.very.best.

This book will break you. It will stay with you. This book is real life. It’s so real, you live it.
The raw, awkward, intimate, realness & honesty will resonate.

The simplicity of the writing is magnetic. The reading of the story is magnetic. I agree with the author & narrator in the podcast at the end. It had to be Bebe reading Jessica’s story. It was perfect.

What a beautiful book. It is real and relatable and heartbreaking and funny. The narration is perfect, especially knowing it’s the authors sister. I’ve already listened to it twice and will no doubt go back for a third, fourth and fifth time.
I hope Jessie writes more books.
