Was ok

Loved The Last House on Needless Street, so was very exciting when Sundial was announce & very intrigued by the premises. Unfortunately didn't quiet hit the mark for me. Found most of it too slow & didn't really start to enjoy until the last third. There is also a story within the story that added nothing to the overall arc, even though is only a few pages worth, takes up too much time.
I did struggle with the narrator till about half way through the story.
Trigger warnings for abuse on all levels including animals.

Mediocre

coming from Needless street I had high hopes as I loved that book... however with Sundial I did not enjoy this at all, toxic boring characters, "twists" were pretty average and I just found the overall story lacking soul. Narrator was pretty decent 3/5 . I doubt I'll be getting anymore from this author, I still highly recommend Needless street.
