Summary

Two Australian police officers travel to San Francisco and Los Angeles in the summer of 1967 in search of a missing young man, only to find themselves fully immersed in the world of music, free love, drugs and hippie counterculture. They soon realise this isn't just any ordinary missing person investigation. A big gig is the perfect place to get away with murder, and their search becomes a thrilling journey through the seamy side of the 1960s counterculture. This book is not to be missed for fans of gripping crime fiction and rock'n'roll.

I’ve followed Dave Warner since the early Victoria Hotel Subiaco days. From the City of Lights to now. What a writer

A sequel to Big Bad Blood, this book sees the protagonists headvto California in the swinging sixties. A non-stop story with great references to the times . An enjoyable story.

Another Warner thriller.

I really enjoyed the book. The mystery built nicely through the book and was really gripping as it came to a climax. The pop culture references and interactions were fun. The narrator did a great job. Often I find when a single narrator is doing voices with different accents and genders it can wear thin but they did really well.

Fun crime thriller!
