I wasn't sure what to expect with this. But I really enjoyed it.
I loved Caleb, CJ and Isaac.

Took awhile for me to settle with the narration. Iggy is a bit hit and miss for me, although more hits than misses. Maybe dual narration would have worked better ? I liked the characters well enough and their coupling felt right but I felt the author missed a few opportunities to deepen the storyline. Not sure if I’ll continue the series, would have thought that Damon or CJ would be next and I’m never keen when the same narrator is used in a series as the characters get lost unless they are brilliant with alternate accents and tones. I’d like to give the author another go, so maybe I’ll go and read one from another series.

As a creative person, this hit all the right notes. Love it. All the characters, even the side characters, are so 3D. And the way the whole "muse" thing is handled is perfect. It's clear it starts as lust not love, but it's clear it develops into love naturally. And they're both inspired by each other but over time they realise it's not the cheap inspiration of infactuation, they genuinely love each other. It's great. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author. And Iggy Toma did a fantastic job. The best performance of his I've heard.

Stripped Love is book one in the Guys Next Door series.

This is my first time reading Baylin and I'm so glad I started with this book. Its exactly what I expected it to be and what I needed.

Its a low angst story of finding yourself and falling in love. It will give you the happy feels. I really enjoyed these characters and I look forward to reading more in this series.

If you're an audiophile like me I highly recommend the audio narrated by one of my faves Iggy Toma. He's fantastic at bringing a story to life!
