I really enjoyed the dramatic start - a bride “stolen” from under the groom’s nose. But the bride, Stella, proves she won’t be treated as somebody’s property, least of all Gio’s. This was an engrossing, well-developed romance. The narrator did an amazing job in conveying Stella’s vulnerability and inner steel.
