Publisher's Summary

With one look, he blew down every wall I built.

Barista Aaron Fisher has no time for shame, propriety, or boyfriends. He’s tired of being used - by his family, hookups, and even a would-be blackmailer. A year after his last heartbreak, Aaron’s ready to give love another chance. He swoops in to rescue a gentle, bashful hunky customer from the depths of app-swiping hell. Their ideas of hot dates couldn’t be further apart...but making Quinn blush is Aaron’s new favorite hobby.

After a string of failed first dates, personal trainer and hopeless romantic Quinn Powell is ready to give up on love before Aaron suggests a deal. Before December ends, can Aaron prove that great sex is all you need, or will Quinn show him that happily ever after does exist?

Dating inappropriate, sassy Aaron is like sticking dynamite into Quinn’s tidy life. He finds himself remembering desires that have gone unsatisfied for years. Before long, they’re breaking the only rule: don’t hide their real feelings just to win the bet.

Quinn’s afraid of scaring off the secretly vulnerable twink, while Aaron’s afraid of going tame if he gives his heart to the only man strong enough to see through his defenses. This is a lot more than a fling and a few fancy dates. But as their time runs out, they must find the strength to admit to their fears.

Both men need rescuing, but can they believe in themselves and each other when it matters most?

Stolen Hart is the fourth book in the new Hart’s Bay series about a small town full of nosy but well-meaning neighbors and brotherly banter. It can be listened to on its own, and promises a happily ever after ending with plenty of smiles and steam along the way. And at least one naughty thing that shouldn’t happen in a coffee shop.

I absolutely love Aaron and Quinn's story! Such a touching story that I fell right in love with. I have been wait for this one to come out in audio because I just love Aaron's story. Greg Boudreaux does a fantastic job with this narration. He just made an amazing story even better. I couldn't help but fall in love with this one right here. I love this story so much!

Oh Boy!

I loved Aaron in all of the books, he reminded me of a friend of mine and like I hoped for my friend I wanted this poor misunderstood boy to find his forever. Aaron's attitude is heartbreaking because he truly doesn't believe he's worth more than a night and has convinced himself out of necessity that, that is all he wants and it's just achingly horrifying. Not unreasonable given his history but still sad. Ed has a way of making you care and you get invested in them finding their happiness. Wishing you could imbue them with confidence or showing them that they are worth so much more than what they believe. It's a talent. Quinn is traditional and has so much to offer and he just wants so much to give it and when he finds Aaron he wants to offer him all of it. Unfortunately Aaron is just not willing to accept that love is even a reality much less a possibility. Watching them is a joy and you wanna cheer and cry and kick the antagonists butt. Of the series this one might be my favorite. So worth the wait and Greg is awesome as always. Hope you enjoy this wonderful story :)

Aww

This is a beautiful story with great characters. Greg Boudreaux does a fantastic job in bringing these great characters off the pages and giving them even more life. I love a good narration that adds even more to the story and the characters within that story.

Would have been better as a novella

I really wanted to like Stolen Hart (Hart’s Bay #4) by E. Davies and narrated by Greg Boudreaux. Unfortunately it just didn’t work for me. I did like both main characters, Aaron Fisher a Hart’s Bay barista who had been used by many men in the past including a would-be blackmailer, and Quinn Powell, a hopelessly romantic personal trainer and a customer at Aaron’s coffee shop. Greg Boudreaux’s narration was fine. The issue was the story he’d been given to read. At least for my taste there was far too much mutual and self doubt combined with constant miscommunication and mixed messaging. Stolen Hart would have made a perfect sweet novella, but there isn’t enough substance here to sustain 7½ hours of listening time.

FABULOUS!!

Another fabulous one in this spectacular series. Aaron and Quinn are wonderful characters and they are just perfect for one another. Their relationship starts off as a bet for one month and as the month progresses they each start developing feelings for the other but are too afraid to admit it. I love watching them grow closer and seeing Quinn accept Aaron just as he is and helping Aaron see just how wonderful he really is. The narrator is spectacular with the story and all of the characters. He truly pulls you right in to the story and makes you feel all of the emotions. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.

Hold your heart, you'll need it.

This is such an amazing edition to the Harts Bay series. I fell in love with all the books, but I think this might possibly be my favorite. Aaron at first comes off as such a wild free spirit that doesn't have a care in the world or cares what anyone thinks of him. But he's hiding such a big secret. After rejection and judgement from his family and past lovers his outlook on love is very cynical even though that is one thing he longs for. Trying to keep this persona going Aaron strikes up a bargain with Quinn, 3 weeks of fooling around vs falling in love. Quinn facing his own problems keeps up the romance in a bid to win Aaron's heart, even when he fears that Aaron might walk away from him after New Year's. Add in a stalker and some angst and you have a perfect Hallmark movie come to paper. I love it. Thank you E. Davies for this amazing book and Greg Boudreaux who just does fabulous work with the characters and bringing their emotions to life.

Aaron and Quinn will touch your heart!!!

Touching story of learning to love, trust and be yourself!  It has all the best feels.   I loved how the narrator really brought the story to life and created a really beautiful listen.  I really enjoyed these MC's and how really sweet and honest their hearts were.  Both men found their missing pieces when they allowed themselves to be them with each other. The writing was beautiful and the story-line made me feel.  This story will touch your heart.  I loved that we got to see the previous characters we have grown to love and that they continue to be the found family we all want.  I so enjoyed my visit to this delightful town.   Aaron and Quinn’s journey was meaningful, steamy and brought out the best of both me.  I was rooting for them for sure.   Learning to trust that you will be chosen and loved is tough and often life is not kind.  This book is a real feel good story with so much love to be found.   This is book four of the Hart Bay series and can be read as a stand-alone.  I do, however, recommend reading the other books in the series because they are all really good.  I am looking forward to the next book!

I was so invested in Aaron and Quinn's HEA I wanted to put them in a room and beat them until they told each other how they really feel.🤣 Narrator comment: Greg Boudreaux's masterful performance works perfectly and brings the story and it's characters to life. His rhythm, changes in pitch, intonation's and the cadence of his voice all work perfectly to provide me with a completely immersible audio experience.

Quinn and Aaron are awesome!

I feel like I have waited a lifetime for Aaron's story but it was most definitely worth the wait. Every time I listen to another Hart's Bay book I think it's my favorite so I'm just going to say that I love this series. The relationship build up between Quinn and Aaron is perfect and seeing the two of them grow personally and together is very heart warming. I really enjoyed the story telling here and being able to see all of the other couples and characters from this series was a bonus as well. I was very shocked with Floyd's appearance but I won't give anything away there. The narration was very well done also. I sincerely hope there is more from Hart's Bay in the future.

Brilliant

Am loving this series, the town is so wonderful and the couple's just keep on getting better. Barista Aaron is a love and leave them, whilst Quinn is looking forever. They decide to try being a couple for a month, the fun and games was great, the stalker not so much. Can't wait to continue the series

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4-5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me. The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, I’m over the half, but I listen enough to give a review. PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!! To my ratings: 5* - very very good it's like an A+ 4* - very good and will be often re-listening it's like an A 3* - it's more then a one-time-listening. it's like a B

Aaron and Quinn heat up the holidays in Hart's Bay

After a broken heart, brash and sassy Aaron is determined to keep his dating activities limited to the physical, and after a string of bad first dates, strong and sensitive Quinn is ready for something real. But they can’t deny the initial attraction they feel for each other, at least to themselves, so they agree to a dating experiment for the holidays, to each give the other what they are looking for, at least for a few weeks, and then reevaluate. What could go wrong? I love the group of friends who live as a de facto family in Hart’s Bay, and Greg Boudreaux’s narration is nuanced and first-rate. Every time I visit Hart’s Bay, I never want to leave.

Beautiful small town romance

Once again this author has gifted us with a beautifully written romance that flows perfectly across the pages. Aaron and Quinn are two complex characters, with loads of chemistry between them, who both have insecurities about their “fling”. Aaron is a cafe owning barista who is an inappropriate, sassy twink and friend to all. He’s not interested in a relationship with anyone. Quinn is a personal trainer, hopeless romantic and is actively searching for a relationship. With Quinn, Aaron doesn’t have to change who he is and with Aaron, Quinn learns to be himself. There is minimal angst, a drop of drama, humour from the inappropriate Aaron and a fair amount of heat. This is a really enjoyable romance that left me smiling and eagerly awaiting more. Greg Boudreaux’s performance is flawless and has made the characters come alive.
