What do the Democratic Party and a gang of criminals have in common? Funny you should ask!

In the fall of 2014, outspoken pundit, author, and filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza found himself hauled into federal court for improperly donating money to a friend who was running for the Senate. D'Souza pleaded guilty, apologized for his offense, and was sentenced to eight months in a state-run confinement center near his home in San Diego. In the facility, he lived among hardened criminals - drug dealers, thieves, gangbangers, rapists, and murderers. Now, in this timely, fresh, provocative, and entertaining audiobook, the best-selling author explains how this experience not only changed his life but fundamentally transformed his perception of his adopted country.

Previously, D'Souza had seen America through the eyes of a grateful immigrant who came here as a student and became successful by applying and defending conservative principles. Again and again D'Souza made the case that America is an exceptional nation, fundamentally fair and just. But his prolonged exposure to the criminal underclass provided an eye-opening education in American realities. In the view of hardened criminals, America is anything but fair and just. Instead it is a jungle in which various armed gangs face off against one another, with the biggest and most powerful gangs inhabiting the federal government.

Applying this hardboiled perspective to American politics, D'Souza saw that America is becoming less exceedingly exceptional every day. Indeed, it is in danger of becoming just like India and other corrupt third world nations, run by gangs of kleptocrats. As for American liberalism, it is not a movement of ideas at all; it is but a series of scams and cons aimed at nothing less than stealing the wealth of the American people.

With biting wit and literary brio, D'Souza describes these liberal cons and the rationales and methods used to justify and execute them.

Is it already too late?

Like a frog in a pot of water, it doesn't realize its demise until the water starts to boil and its trapped. Has this happened to America? D'Souza's book dramatically explains step by step clear examples, how the progressive have been plotting and are succeeding to transform America, to steal power and wealth from its own country. Let's hope it's not too late to reverse the damaging policies crippling America. The millenium generation needs to wake up and lead the revolution to return America to the principles and values of its founders. Every American must read this.

Unmasking the con-exposing the lie and liars in Progressive America

In his book "Stealing America" Dinesh D'Souza exposes the lies that progressives tell to further their ultimate goal: the theft of America. In a clear and concise fashion D'Souza explains the guiding philosophy behind progressives' actions. In particular, the actions of two of the most infamous and influential progressives, namely Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are chronicled. If Republicans, especially conservative Republicans, were aware of the philosophy and common tactics employed by progressives, progressive's plans would be thwarted at their earliest stages. Knowing or at the very least understanding progressive motives makes one less likely to fall for the conman's pitch and supports efforts to replace progressive mainstays such as Obama Care. Ultimately turning the tide of progressive indoctrination of young people at colleges and universities begins with an education of just what they have been taught (progressive ideology) and how in the long run that ideology threatens their very freedom.

Eye & Mind Opening

What did you love best about Stealing America?

The comparison between the convicted felons and the illustration of how that world operates and the operation of the world of Progressive Politics was incredible. The two worlds run such parallel lives; one in the open for the public to see, and one in the shadows. It is unfortunate, though, that the world of Progressive Politics is an illusion of fairness and equality, when in reality it is a con of thievery and lies.

Great!

D'Souza has hit this one out of the park! Love the candidness and his Debbie Downer sense of humor. Even though this stuff is not funny, you have to laugh about it sometimes.

The narcissism of the liberal left is astonishing.

Thanks to Mr. D'Souza and your "homies" at the detention center for the eye-opening education about the sneaky, and malicious practices of the political left.

The one thing that really stuck with me was the gang member
who told Dinesh how much work and pre planning is involved in a riot. That really made me wonder about all the recent riots going on now in 2020.

America needs more people like Dinesh D'Souza, President Trump, Candace Owens, and Franklin Graham (I'm sure there are many others) to expose these practices and bring them down. The democrats are killing America and the freedoms on which she was founded. They are also destroying the people they claim to be protecting. They don't care about women: they objectify them. They don't care about the unborn: they kill them. They don't care about the poor: they make sure they stay poor.
It is amazing to me how people are duped into believing their lies. Even my STBX became very anti-conservative, to the point he is opposite in every way to the man I married. At his request, and against my better judgment, I accompanied my STBX to a Beto O'Roark rally. The atmosphere of the rally was one of "party-time". It reminded me of the lyrics in Dire Straits song "money for nothing and my chicks for free". I suppose it goes along with the porn-addicted, theiving, lying, projecting, hateful, abusive, using, enslaving, selfish, entitled, muderous, and heartless people that they tend to be. A conservative rally would never have that atmosphere.

A very eye-opening book. I highly recommend.

A must read for every American citizen

It was so refreshing to know that people like Dinesh still exist. We are losing America at a rapid rate right now and Dinesh makes an overwhelming case to support this statement in his book. I just hope we're not too late to save her.

Eye-opening and alarming.

D’Souza exposes so much of the hidden cons that are at the root of the progressives, how they prey upon the distractions that we all contend with and the weaknesses of those prone to victimhood in society. His study of Saul Alinsky and how his principles continue to be used rampantly in today’s progressive party is startling. This should be required reading for anyone who feels the call to action to save our nation from the thieving cons who constantly fight for power over all, and destruction of our country.

Disappointing, in comparison to the film version.

Having seen and enjoyed the film, I was keen to read the book. Unfortunately, despite a good start, the author keeps telling the reader what the book is going to tell the reader, rather than actually telling them. This smacks of "filler" to me, as though a fairly short story has been padded out. Goes rapidly downhill after Andrew Klavin takes over the reading.
