Stand-up, som vi kender det i Danmark, stammer først og fremmest fra USA. Her var der på barer og restauranter i 1950’erne ofte sang- og musikforestillinger. I pauserne mellem numrene var der behov for underholdning. Derfor ansatte man en mand til at stille sig op på scenen, ofte med jokes, løs snak og små historier.
Vi har hver især vores helt egne favoritter blandt stand-up-komikere. Lyt med her, og hør om nogle af de sjoveste, de første og de største: Eddie Murphy, Casper Christensen, Anders Matthesen og mange flere.
