I really struggled with the constant shifting of the time line, flitting back and forth before/after and back again, it just left the whole story disjointed and didn’t add anything to the narrative. The psychology wasn’t well researched either and the description of that didn’t hold together.

The plot was not as twisty as I prefer but I will still read more from this author. Sometimes the alteration to another's pov was not as smooth as it could be. The narrator was very good.

An interesting take on a victim planing revenge.
Narrator did a reasonable job with the material she had to work with.
Didn't keep my interest and I struggled to continue with it. Blase best describes my feelings, although I have heard worse, at least I finished it. Wrapped up the ending with a pretty unrealistic bow , leaving many unanswered questions.

Found is book had plenty going on to keep you interested. The characters all well crafted. Storyline very good and flowed well ,with good narration. Enjoyed the book from start to finish.

As a victim of abuse and sexual assault in a different way described in this book, I found it hard to listen. I cried. I sobbed. I knew my abusers before they became my abusers.. so to listen to the account of someone's view of it when it's a stranger.. I NEEDED to know if she got justice. I never did anything but eventually flee and to listen to someone find the strength to do what this character does.. it makes me feel like I can do so much more for myself. Not in the "I want to hunt them down" way but in a "I am so much more then scars" kinda way. I had to know what happened next at every turn!

This is the best Audible I have listened to so far. It was graphic in parts(but a necessary part of the plot). I couldn’t stop listening. A gripping story, It would make a great movie.

I started listening to this book with enthusiasm. I came close to not finishing this read because it dragged in and on with repeated words. perhaps it might have been good if it was half as many chapters.
