The story is well researched & well written with some warm insight. unfortunately, the narrator droned on, almost without inflection and somewhat rushed. Eventually, I found it unbearable & had to shut it down to look for another writer with another narrator. it is a pity because the narrator has a pleasantly modulated voice but seemed as though he was a bored schoolboy having to read out loud to the class & trying to get it over as quickly as possible.

Really enjoyed the book and the narrator strikes the right, matter of fact reading for the subject. Surprised how much pro nazism survived in Britain all the way through the war.

courageously fought the Nazi's Russians and British red tape and predjudices. I am glad I read this book in an era where we complain about no blu water in the toilets and use the word courageous to describe a football tackle. she was a part of the greatest generation.

A slower pace. Could not keep up with the speaker. Had to really concentrate to understand.

Slower speech and more inflection in his voice. Sounder like reading a documentary.
