Publisher's Summary
A painfully awkward love story.
Incomprehensibly awkward Elizabeth Wilde is desperate for love. Connection. Intimacy. After a lifetime of romantic failures, the 21-year-old gamer realizes she needs help. Professional help. She needs...a sex tutor.
The devastatingly hot jock Austin Jacobs is just the man for the job. As the reigning campus sex god, he has the playboy act down pat. But underneath those six-pack abs beats a broken heart. He doesn't trust people, and he sure as hell doesn't believe in love.
The odd couple strikes a deal. Four weeks of "tutoring" for $5,000.
When Austin coaxes Elizabeth out from behind her computer screen, the attraction they feel is undeniable. They're both a little broken, but somehow their jagged edges fit. And when their world comes tumbling down on top of them, they each have to decide if this weird thing called love is worth fighting for.

Cuuuuute!!!
Elizabeth is just adorable. You can’t not love her and although Austin has his moments you can’t help but root for him too. A very cute and easy to read story with both huggable and slappable characters.

Funny and predictable in a good way
This book was funnier than I expected, lots of laughs. The love story was predictable but not corny so I enjoyed it and binged it. Ahh I feel all happy now.

Painfully awkward cuteness
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

I really enjoyed this! It was a fluffy, funny story of an odd cliche of 'shm/ex tutor' but the characters were lovable enough to stand their ground. Our gamer FMC asks our jock MMC to teach her all that jazz about shm/ex, flirtation, and pretty much anything resembling intimacy when dating.
This book cleverly navigates the awkwardness of building an intimate relationship with a relative stranger, whilst giving us enough insight into each character to want to fall in love with each of them!
The story isn't incredibly deep, with barely more than passing mentions of what makes our two main characters who they are but the comedy and lovableness is enough to get you through for sure. You can almost feel them slowly falling for each other even though it was never meant to be anything real.
All in all, a really fun read and I would probably listen again if I was looking for a lighthearted audio one weekend.
