About this listen
It is with great pleasure that we are able to retell the stories, first published as Forty Delicious Years, of 40 varied travelers who have Murni and Murni's Warung in common. We initially compiled these recollections in 2014 on the 40th anniversary of Murni's opening of Murni's Warung in Ubud, Bali, the first international-style restaurant in Ubud.
We have renamed this volume So Many Delicious Years, and Murni has added a number of recipes. We are pleased to mention that Forty Delicious Years won the prestigious Gourmand Award in 2019.

What a pleasure it has been to read So Many Delicious Years, which is all about forty years of amazingly successful hospitality provided by Murni in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia.
And an equal pleasure as well to listen to Dawn O. Watson narrating the audiobook version with her clear voice.
For my husband, Jon Lock, and myself the book brings back countless memories of good times enjoyed by us at Murni’s Warung. Jon has known Murni for most of those years. And our countless trips to Ubud over the years have always included dining there often.
Furthermore, we have savoured many a delicious dish there including the toasted sandwiches and the Balinese Smoked Duck, and almost everything else in between.
The book is clever in including the dining and face-to-face meetings with Murni memories of so many past visitors from all over the world.
And the perfect finishing touch is the inclusion of some of Murni’s favourite recipes.
