Such a talented writer that can orchestrate the act of falling in love perfectly no matter what the setting. It was a fun and spicy read and I like Becketts nickname for Elouise, Smoky who wouldn’t want a man a like that.

Never expected this type of twist drama in what I thought was a sweet romance. Elouise's bloopers from age 7 when she first decided she loved Beckett gave me many chuckles. Beckett, seeing her for the first time all grown up, really set the scene for how he felt. Of course, everything couldn't be easy, so the miscommunication was actually suited to the storyline and understandable. I'm not a fan normally of too much miscommunication, but this was done well.

Beckett was so swoonworthy, and I can't wait to read Maddie's story next.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible. The voice actors were good.
