Publisher's Summary

This story is about a relentless young woman in her late 20s named Skylar. Skylar set out to investigate her brother Mark’s death, who had died shockingly from being stabbed thousands of miles away from home. Mark, on his part, had led a rough life filled with bad associates, alcohol, and drug abuse. Despite his lifestyle and not having heard from Mark for some time before his death, Skylar knew the circumstances surrounding her brother’s death did not add up, especially since no one was held responsible. In a bid to unravel the truth, she set out to investigate the person whom she suspected of - Brandon.

Brandon was her brother’s best friend, but he also was the same person that introduced Mark into the rough life he led till his death. Brandon had once before threatened to kill Mark when they had some problem, but they settled almost immediately. On hearing Mark was murdered, Skylar had just one suspect in mind - Brandon.
