Favorite

This has been my favorite book from NR Walker. The narrator is AWESOME and made this a delightful and fun listen. The story was cute and the characters really funny. There was an odd sexist tone to the book with the females being gender typical and some odd comments about 'being a girl' by the MC when feeling emotion; but on the whole I really enjoyed this book. I really loved Lucus' vibe and the quirky aspects the author added to each personality.

"I um... I have... a thing for feet?" - Lucas

• Would I listen to it again: yes • Did the story keep me engaged: yes • Was I invested in the characters: yes • Story comment: I found this a delightful story with an easy pace and low drama. The characters are likeable with their own quirks and the dynamic between the two MCs was entertaining. Cameron likes cartoon socks and Lucas has a thing for feet - they're a perfect match 😊. I appreciated NR Walkers inclusion of the repercussions of unprotected sex - the AIDS issue is often overlooked in this genre. • Narrator comment: I enjoyed Nick Russo's narration. I had no problem distinguishing characters or feeling the emotions of the story and think his rhythm, tone and inflections have done a good job bringing Sixty Five Hours to life.

Did not finish

Such bland characters! Apart from being beautiful and popular I don't understand what is to like. Even the pressure of succeding at their assignment did not make this story thrilling. I returned it at 30%. Narration was great.

A Great Listen!

65 Hours - N.R. Walker This was one of my favorite books by this author, and I was so excited when I heard it was coming to audio. I didn’t even listen to the sample before I grabbed this, and I wasn’t disappointed! Nick Russo did an amazing job bringing Lucas and Cameron to life for me! He totally nailed what I had in my head for Lucas. Ah Lucas and Cameron! I just loved these two! Forced into working together by the Boss, Cameron’s Dad, they had 65 hours to formulate an ad campaign for lifestyle products. Oh, and did I mention the two do NOT get along? Cue all your forced proximity fantasies here! I loved the chemistry between these two men. It. Was. Hot. I loved Lucas’s patience with Cameron, and Cameron was the sweetest with his fun and funky socks. I loved the “research” these guys put into their ad campaign! This was a great read and I really enjoyed the narration! You can’t go wrong with this listen!

Great listen

I enjoyed this book and it was just what I was looking for. Good balance of building up the tension, their relationship developing and growing, hot times, as well as plot. I usually love N.R. Walker books, but some don’t hit the mark - but this one is up there with the great ones.
