I have loved listening to this series and would happily recommend. The stories are a little bit dark, not too uncomfortably deep although still check trigger warnings. Both narrators capture the character’s personalities perfectly and duet narration is the best way to listen. Worth a listen if you want something a little bit gritty, a little bit dark, that’s spicy and with some funny scenes thrown in too. This book in the series was probably my least favorite but I happily listened to it from start to finish as it continues on from book 2. I’m looking forward to the next installment when it comes out.

Who doesn’t love a jealous and possessive mafia man? Rafe was that and then some. Penny was a decent FMC - totally invested in their love story.
This one was a little slow in places and a bit whiney at times, but it didn’t take away from the power of their story, I was here for their banter and the wrap up of their to and fro.
The series is one for the shelves!

Really good, book love it so much, could not stop reading it. Good ending. Hated that they when separated ways after he said she was not lucky.
