I loved Priest, but Sinner kicks things up. Sierra Simone writes so beautifully to make even the dirtiest, raunchiest scenes full of romance, longing and emotion.

Jacob Morgan once again does an incredible job bringing this story to life.

It’s not perfect – like with Priest, it’s hard to really get a sense of the FMC, since it’s almost entirely from the MMC POV, and as a result, it can be annoying for the listener to see the character’s glaringly obvious flaws, yet never have them fully realised because the MMC considers them flawless. But it’s easy to get past it as you’re drawn into this world.

I also didn’t appreciate how often 36 was called “old” 😝

Narration style: mostly solo, though 2 short chapters told from FMC POV is has female narrator
Tropes: age-gap (21 & 36), spice coaching, secret romance
Potential triggers: discussions around suicide and SA in the church (off page, same as in Priest), cancer, on page death of loved one, a LOT of discussion of Catholicism, both critical and favourable

This book is freaking fantastic!!! Jacob Morgan did a amazing job narrating and really bought Shawn's story to life. I fell inlove with the character and their love story.

I was looking for a steamy book and I definitely found it! The detail in the scenes are just 🔥🥵

Even though I spent the last 2 hours of the book crying my eyes out for Shawn. The ending was worth the heart break.

This is my first time listening to a book by Sierra and I was not let down. I will now being binge listening to this whole series. ❤
