O ditado de Quintiliano é verdadeiro: "Se você não anseia ser entendido, você é digno de ser esquecido". O primeiro objetivo de um ministro deve ser o de pregar a verdade, toda a verdade, e nada mais que "a verdade como ela é em Jesus". Mas a próxima coisa que ele deve visar é que o sermão seja entendido, e este não será entendido pela maioria dos ouvintes se não for simples.
