a great set worth the listen. good set of short, entertaining and very sexy stories that will stay with you and have you searching for other books both by the author and narrator alike.

Narrator is okay.
Narrator is okay. I enjoy this authors books so much so it was a pleasure to be able to get these in audible too. New narrator for me. I just couldn’t get the listening speed right at first but settled at 1.25 and was able to enjoy the stories. BOOK REVIEW I love having box sets for easy rereading. This is the first four books in this series which I read through KU but I have bought the box set. 1 - HUNTERS MOON First read in the Shifters in the Shadows anthology. I love how this author is mixing these clans together. What a wonderful short enjoyable read bringing in a new shifter clan to mix/join with the Black Mesa Wolves we love. I liked both Abby and Quentin. Not much interaction with the Black Mesa Pack except for Maddy, Sean and Alpha Channing. 2 - MOUNTAIN BEARS’ BABY Read in the Shifters in the Snow – Bundle of Joy anthology. A very good read that brings a troubled bear back home. Shane and Jessica had a hot few nights together. When Shane returns from a business trip he finds Jessica and the baby son he didn’t know about have also moved to town. Jessica is also his mate. I liked that Shane had already been on the road to balance and peace for a year before Jessica moved to Deep Hollow. Jessica had a weekend with Maverick (Shane) nearly two years previously and had never forgotten him. She moves to Deep Hollow to raise her son among shifters. A good Christmas story. My only question is how did Jessica know Grant was a shifter baby? 3 - RESCUE BEAR - CORTEZ This is the third book in this series and it is lovely to pop back to Deep Hollow. A very enjoyable, sweet and nice read with two likeable H’s that really need the other. This pleasant story just carry’s you along and it was great to bump into some of the others from previous books. The ending was great with everyone turning out to help. Poor Hailey, she was a bit naive with the ex-husband but understandable as she was young and trusted him. To be betrayed like that was horrible. But glad he got his just deserts. Cortex, oh boy, wasn’t he punishing himself needlessly but that too was understandable. Loved that Hailey came good with her career and I will be looking forward to reading about the other new characters we meet in this book. 4 - RANGER BEAR Two shifters, both dealing with hurtful parts, slowly come to help and support each other. Riley’s mate was shot by a shifter killer years previously, leaving him to raise his two wonderful cubs. Marissa has had a horrendous childhood of abuse and is then sucked into the shifter world against her will. She is changed by a crazy shifter, so was her brother who she is really close too. These two find some redemption and a future neither thought was possible. Loved the twist about nefarious.
