Ashes of Thezmarr is one of my favourite series of all time! I loved it, really liked Wren’s character, and loved the alchemy element. The female narrator was fantastic! I do think the male narrator sounded a bit old for how I imagined Torj, but overall not too big of an issue! Highly recommend overall!

Having loved the rest of the Thezmarr series, I had expected to love this final book as well. Unfortunately, I think this book added nothing to the story. It is slow, confusing (I still don’t understand the Silas storyline or what the point of it was) and waaaaaayyy too long for how little happens. I was bored from start to finish, and had to listen to it on x1.25 speed because the narrators talked so slowly. If I had a dollar for every time the “soul bond” was mentioned or Torj simped over Wren, I’d be rich. Very disappointing end to the series.
