great story
if you understand that this author's stories are sort of young adult (fade to black on sex) and ridiculously (I mean that in a good way) uplifting, then dig in. I love his narrator and routinely listen to one of his titles when I need an adventure and a boost in my morale. I'm normally never a fade to black kind of reader, but I make an exception for this guy.

Great story and reading!
I loved Silent Bob and Hollie Jackson was perfect as our Bobby! I caught myself smiling throughout the entire book. It was difficult to turn it off and I couldn't wait to listen some more! I loved the reunion from a lot of the Music of the Soul characters! I'll definitely have to re-listen to the other books.
I'm glad Hollie was able to narrate again, she always does a fantastic job. Hollie makes it easy to get lost in the story and to fall in love with the characters.
Can't wait for the next Schubach book to come to life!

Good paced romance
love the little mysteries and how things build in this though i found some of the homophobic characters a little excessive in their words and actions. other than that loved the story and narration by Hollie Jackson. Very well done, plethora of interesting characters.

bought it on a whim and loved it
I had never heard of this author or book but saw a list of sport themed lesbian Romance books that were supposedly good and Silent Bob was on there, so after listening to the audio sample I decided to purchase it. the story was good and the narration was very good. both strong women with a funny side which I liked. there were a couple times during the story when I wished something hadn't happened but in the end it all worked out nicely. it was a well-rounded love story. also, I really like how the author wrote the ending of the book from a third person's perspective. for anyone interested in the sex scenes, this book does not go into detail. kind of pg-pg13 ish.

Loved it!
Where does Silent Bob rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is definitely one of my favorites.
What does Hollie Jackson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I enjoy all of Hollie Jackson's work. She really helps to bring the story and the characters alive. I also love her accents and how she differentiates the characters.

Same Theme; Still A Great Listen
After listening to all five books in the series I am able to pretty much anticipate each succeeding twist in the book's plot. That being said I still found myself in tears during several segments in the second portion of this quite short, but greatly listenable audio. Characters from all but the initial audiobook in the Seattle Lesbian Love collection, Music of the Soul. Though once again many of the individuals in the story are much too good to be real, or maybe because of that; you love them. Hearing the testimonials everyone was giving Roberta aka Silent Bob had me bawling like a politician facing the press after getting caught in a scandal; well, except for the tears being real part. I think I even saw a few tears sneaking down the old man's face, as he vehemently denied any such emotional reaction. Unlike him I didn't deduct any points for a lack of purported reality in the characters presented; they were women, they were sexually adventurous, and I wanted to meet and hang with most of them. If you are a fan of the first four books, you'll love this one too. If this is your first listen, keep a few Kleenex handy.
