Publisher's Summary
Here are seven of H.H. Munro's (Saki's) finest short stories, including 'The Treasure Ship', 'Laura', 'The Lumber Room', 'The Quince Tree', 'The Open Window', 'Tobermory', and 'The Story Teller'. Witty, mischievous, and sometimes macabre, the stories satirise Edwardian society and culture.

Which story?
I suppose it's a guessing game - unless you recognize the story.
The narrator doesn't introduce the stories and they're not in the chapter list.
(sorry new Saki readers)

Yes Munro anytime, he is(was) brillant.

would hesitate to compare him to anybody else
What didn’t you like about Emma Topping’s performance?
She was average and speaking to fast overall.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Anger and disappointment.
The presentation demonstrates disrespect for the Author and the listener.
No title no chapters or even a break when a new story starts. It is all one soup.
Any additional comments?
Amazon should use this presentation for "worst practice training" of its editors

Very Disappointing.
I was really looking forward to this audio book as I love Saki's stories. I had listened to the clip and the narrator's voice and delivery were fine. However the stories are read in an almost continious stream, with hardly a pause between each and absolutely on indication of a title for any story. Totally confusing!
