Publisher's Summary

Ever meet a hot billionaire while your hand's in a toilet in the men's room of one of his stores? No? So it really is just me. Hmm.

When you're a mystery shopper, you get paid to humiliate yourself, all in the name of improving customer service. Romance isn't in my job description. But the day I met Declan McCormick it was love at first flush. Until I nearly castrated him with my EpiPen.

How Hot Guy and Toilet Girl became an item involves my crazy mom, a trip to the ER, my homicidal cat, my fake wife, and true love.

Don't look at me like that. I'm just doing my job. I'm shopping for a billionaire.

The Shopping for a Billionaire collection from New York Times best-selling author Julia Kent is a hilarious romantic comedy with heart, heat, and laughs. This boxed set contains the previously published Shopping for a Billionaire 1, Shopping for a Billionaire 2, Shopping for a Billionaire 3, Shopping for a Billionaire 4, and Christmas Shopping for a Billionaire.

Not my cup of tea.

Narrator was so annoying. Over-emphasizing every cliche in the books, and there were sooo many cliches. Offside one liners were interrupting any dialogue and stopped the flow of the story, that could have been told in one book. Sorry, the humour was not witty.

I had a good laugh !

#1 Shopping for the Billionaire

This is hilarious, with a young woman, acting as a secret shopper, due to another staff member not able to cover the commitment. The ongoing banter keeps you laughing, then it becomes even more hilarious, when she is found in a somewhat compromising situation.
I won't spoil a great storyline!!
Well worth reading, or listening to the audiobook, which the narrator adds that extra pizzazz to a great story.

#2 &#3 The episodes continue in hilarious aboundment, until things turn sour. Like life, a pothole has been hit, but it is interesting to see what will happen next.
#4 This series finale, and yes a HEA, eventually. But off course, we are told some home truths, and the normal, for these characters, anyway, embarrassing situations arise.
I must admit laughing out loud, throughout these episodes, with the narrator's assistance of relating reader and characters to the writer's perfectly painted skits, that you felt you were there, on the spot, eavesdropping on the conversations.
If you want some adult driven humor, I do think you would enjoy this series.

#5 This is a very, very naughty Christmas scenario, I don't know if anyone should be getting presents, for their naughty behavior.

I`m sore from laughing

If you could sum up Shopping for a Billionaire in three words, what would they be?

Freaking hilariously brilliant

What other book might you compare Shopping for a Billionaire to and why?

None that I can think of, this series proudly stands alone.
I originally read this over a year ago and loved it, had to snap up the audiobooks when they had been included in the boxset.

Which character – as performed by Tanya Eby – was your favorite?

Shannon, dear lord she had me laughing so hard that not only did my sides hurt but so did my cheeks.
Tanya Eby, after listening to you in this series I couldn't think of anyone better to narrate Julia`s brilliant sense of humour. You have a fan girl that will be stalking you and all your future work.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Has many, far to many to mention and just as many that made me look strange while laughing out loud in public

Any additional comments?

Julia Kent, I hold firm in my belief that you are one of my favourite rom-com authors, thank you for making me laugh.
And Tanya, I`m not sure if it would have been as funny, so real if it wasn't for your talent so thank you

A cute story with wonderful characters and a witty female lead had me consistently laughing out loud. So good that once I finished one book I HAD to continue on to the next! Adding Julia Kent to my favorite authors list.

This book gave me very mixed feelings.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Sort of. It really depends on what kind of book you are expecting in the first place. This book gave me mixed feelings. This book is entertaining for a while then it gets quite repetitive and sexual, and this is coming from a very sexual person. Personally, I don't mind sex scenes in books or whatever as long as they're in reasonable amount. However, the amount of sex in this book is overwhelming. I genuinely believe this book has more sex than 50 Shades of Grey, along with its sequels combined [if the sequels were the same as the first book, for I have not watched them]. I think the sex in this book completely overthrown the story. I couldn't keep up with what happened, because I kid you not, each sex scene is at least 10 minutes. Also, the repetitions were too much. The author repeats every single scenario and character each time they're mentioned that it got me to think that it was just for stretching the book. Example: Something happened at the job, 2 chapters later, she brings it up and describes it all over again as if its the first time it's mentioned. Moreover, the descriptions were TOO much, it goes into the most UNNECESSARY detail. Sometimes the descriptions alone take 5 - 20 minutes, then she continues with the story and I have to return to what happened before the description because I forgot. I have gone back literally over 30 times and most of the times I've rewind, I had to rewind again and again because I couldn't get it. However, me completing the book means its worth something, that's why I gave it 3 stars, since I'm quite picky with my books and I rarely complete them. I usually drive with my mom while listening to these books. Thank god my mom doesn't speak English.

What could Julia Kent have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Less sex, more story.

Which character – as performed by Tanya Eby – was your favorite?

The guy.

Did Shopping for a Billionaire inspire you to do anything?

Yes. Not read from this author again.
