I was expecting a different type of story but was very pleased with what Lee created. It covers off on the struggles of Guardians who are expected to protect Earth every day of their life, while dealing with the injustices of the society they were forced into.

This book covers off on Shattergirl and Lena's personal growths aided by one another. They present each other perspectives of a different life, which starts their journey toward healing and acceptance.

This is not a romance book. Approach this book without any expectations around the relationship between Shattergirl and Lena.

Can’t believe I took so long to listen to this especially narrated by Abby. The story was written amazingly by Lee Winters and Abby brought all the characters to life. Loved the voice of both MCs and their supporting characters throughout the book.

Abby never disappoints when narrating any book she is given, loved this!!

This was my first Lee Winter book and I loved it. Engaging story and characters which drew me right in. Meaningful themes.
