Sharpe’s Tiger is the brilliant beginning of Sharpe’s adventures

India, 1799

The citadel of Seringapatam is under siege. Navigating this dangerous kingdom of bejewelled palaces and poverty, Private Richard Sharpe embarks on a rescue mission to save a senior officer from the clutches of the Tippoo of Mysore – and oust the Sultan from his throne.

The fortress of Mysore is considered impregnable, but one of the greatest threats comes from betrayal within the British ranks. And the man to outwit enemies from both sides is Sharpe . . .

I've been aware of this story franchise for quite some time, but neither read, nor watched any of the adaptation.
But given my enjoyment of some of Cornwall's other works, I thought I should give it a try.
I did find it a little difficult to get into, in the beginning, but after a chapter or so, I was fully invested.
Needless to say, I expect to continue with the series in due course.

Off to a good start!

Wonderfully narrated. Consistent and well done character voices and accents, I have no trouble wondering who’s who when multiple characters are talking

Wonderful Narrator

I thoroughly enjoyed Bernard Cornwell book Sharpe's Tiger, very well written . I am not a person who reads a lot of books in my 61 years on Earth, but the last couple of years now instead of reading I've been audiobooks listening.
I do both now, I sometimes read and mostly listen to my books I buy .
This book Sharpe's Tiger is well written and easy to read as I am now reading the second book but the third book of the series of Sharpe by Bernard Cornwell I'll be listening to so I get to do both worlds now , read if able to and listen and totally enjoy yourself in a book like this, by Bernard Cornwell ,
Sharpe series I highly recommend this book ..
