After finishing Feather so Vicious, I wasn't sure if I needed to read this one. Luckily for me, a friend of mine encouraged me to finished the series and boy, oh boy was it worth it!

Although the overall story had predictability, the emotional connection developed to the characters left my teary eyed more than once!

Again, if you have sensitivity to Sexual Violence, maybe give this series a miss.

What an incredibly intense emotional rollercoaster.

For a dark romance it made me feel EVERYTHING!!

Pain from trauma and heartbreak, personal growth and strength, and love and passion… wow!

The bond between these 3 and the way it changed, adapted and grew was intense but beautiful.

The stakes were high and exciting.

Definitely check your TW. There is a good amount of on page and talk of SA. It isn’t grotesque and there for shock, it has been included as a part of the story and trauma. For me it felt similar to what you might see in a movie? To give you a gauge.

I audio booked this series and although it wasn’t bad, I did struggle a bit with 2 of the narrators. Again they weren’t bad but I found them a bit distracting. (The 3rd was brilliant)

the way the relationships grew in this book was so good, I loved how different the mmc's were and it brought out so many emotions.

I feel guilty for Lovin all of Liv Zanders books and her dark and twisted romance style. Court of Ravens Book 1 & 2 are definitely out there and I was up for them! Major trigger warnings so please take note.
Loved Malyr but he sure wouldn't be everyones choice.
Wasn't a fan of Tor Tom narration of Malyr. While he does have a good voice he seemed emotionless - it was like he was calling a school role. His cadence was wrong, exaggerated stoping at the end of every sentence so it didn't flow naturally.
I was glad of how the story ended up. 🥰
