About this listen

THE UNMISSABLE NEW THRILLER FROM THE INTERNATIONALLY BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF THE GIRL IN THE ICE AND NINE ELMS ROBERT BRYNDZA

When Kate Marshall finds the body of a young man floating in the Shadow Sands reservoir, the authorities label it a tragic accident.

But the details don't add up: why was he there in the middle of the night? If he was such a strong swimmer, how did he drown? As Kate and her assistant Tristan Harper follow the evidence, they make a far darker discovery....

This is only the latest victim in a series of bloody murders dating back decades. A mythic serial killer is said to hide in the rolling fog, abducting his victims like a phantom. And when another woman is taken, Kate and Tristan have a matter of days to save her from meeting the same fate.

A few red herrings and twists and turns. Figured who by around chapter 45 and diving air requirements at 40mt inaccurate - only air required, not oxygen, and no mixes required. Decompression is required; ivedived to 65mt on air no mixes. Looking forward to the next book.

Recommend this audio book - easy listen likeable characters and good twists - the references to the ‘canibal killer ‘ was frankly a bit silly but the rest of the story was engaging and well written

Great narration and well written fast paced story

I got over the violent scary bits judging by this book there are heaps of killers out there wanting to kill and rape women. I’m glad these are only books. I would never be as brave as some of these woman are.

Scary but entertaining

Really enjoyed this even if I guessed the killer 2 thirds through the book. It still captured my attention. Terrible narrating though. Really bad by slow..enunciation...of...each....word. Drove me mad and I’ll avoid any book performed by this narrator now.

Great story bad narrator
