I needed more reasoning behind Jack's thought process in high school. He'd been with Ann long enough to know her favourite ice cream flavour, but believed a snarky girl and a couple of guys that she cheated on him? And he put it all down to his performance? It seems unfeasible.
I liked Ann and her friends. They were real and supportive and sarcastic.
The spice was definitely spicing.
