Best friends Hero and Sunday are holidaying in New York when Sunday persuades the normally conservative Hero to don a siren-red wig and the persona of Lola, a do-anything-anywhere-anytime trapeze artist. The characters were well-defined. The narration was good. I prefer male voices for male parts, it was very enjoyable.

Great to read something from Australia new all the places referred to. A very sweet love story wasn’t sure who would end up with who. Unfortunately the narrator did not get the Aussie accent correct but that is my only complaint.

a young person's book and I am not young but I enjoyed the lightness of the story and the quirky characters. We should all have a chance at being a Lola at some point in our lives, just to see where it takes us

The storyline was quite good but unfortunately the narrator was very school teacher like.. a little immature!

just a lovely, fun light bit of chicken lit, to make your mind of the world. Super easy to listen too. Turns out I'd read this book back in the 2000s and had no idea. Still very much enjoyed it second time round
