if you enjoy Alpha Males with a tender touch you will enjoy this story. This story revolves around the hideous dog fighting rings and a girl trying to save dogs and puppies.

always love the way Ms Stoker takes on serious afflictions and in this case, serious animal brutality. it had some angst that was for sure. I was a bit annoyed at the heroine, she's had a terrible childhood and now at her age has refused to acknowledge or address her issues. I know it made the book plot more involved but I think it was a bit thin that she was feisty yet so ignorant to her ways. if I was Gumby I would have thought twice, talk about the patience of a saint!!
savannah did a great job and as I predicated, it was frothy and less mission based like some of her others. but I enjoyed this one because of the storyline. much like the firefighters series Ms Stoker has written, it addressed poignant issues.
enjoyed catching up with Caroline.
