He put an arm around her

"Do you like me?" It was one of those questions that just kind of blurted out without her thinking about it

"In our last lives we were married and I loved you. I remember that. It's ridiculous for two people who have only known each other for a few days to feel something like love for each other. "It is stupid. Like really stupid, but I feel like I've been waiting a million years to hear that. I love you too."
