Publisher's Summary

I've had my fair share of less-than-proud relationship moments, but waking up married to my brother-in-law's best friend is a new low.

A drunken wedding to a man who already rejected me once? Check.

A hefty bet about how long it will last? Check.

My feisty new husband, determined to make our friends pay up? Double check.

I've never managed to make a real relationship last nearly a year, and there's no way Daniel will stick around long enough to win this bet. The only problem is the longer he stays, the more the lines blur between what's real and what's for show.

Does he feel it, too, or am I totally screwed?

Screwed is a woke-up-married, faking-it-to-their-friends, but also totally hooking up, sweet, steamy love story that happens to be the fourth book in the Four Bears Construction series. There are no bear shifters in this series, only the other kind of bears.

My favorite of the series so far

I really loved Ollie and Daniel’s story. They have great chemistry and this was a nice spin on the fake relationship trope. The narration wasn’t my favorite, but there weren’t any deal breakers like really weird voices, awkward over acting, or huge disparities between the two narrators. My main complaint is that Tim Paige has a tendency to take breaths between sentences and it was distracting at times. I didn’t like Ollie’s voice in previous books, so I’m really glad they changed it for this one. All in all, I think I’ll end up revisiting this audiobook when I need something low angst and comforting.

Daniel and Ollie yes please!

This one was better than the last. I really liked both of the guys! Ollie the romantic and Daniel the skeptic get drunk married in Vegas and stay married due to a bet. They both learn a bit about what real love is and what it means to be In Love! Don’t miss this one!!!

Please give Miller his own book!!!!

I'm already so invested in Miller please take my money and give him his own novel. I can count on one hand the books I've felt represented by as a gay trans dude and none of them were about that trans dude being accepted by other gay men. Pls pls pls!!!!

A fun and silly read, I adored it

This was a great way to wrap up the series. I have to admit that my heart was pulling for Ollie. He just wanted love and let's be honest who doesn't. Daniel was the perfect sparkly, snark for him. I liked how he always comes to Ollie's rescue when the guys tease him. I going to miss these guys. I guess this series will have to go in my re-read pile.

Fun listen - Ollie and Daniel were so fun

This was a really fun story, Ollie and Daniel were coming at this relationship from opposite directions. A Serial groom (think Ross, Friends) and a guy just out for fun allergic to commitment. They accidentally find themselves married in Vegas and decide to stick with it to win a bet. The characters were quirky yet real and you were sucked into this lively story. I was rooting for them from the get go, and their journey was worth it all the way.

Perfection!

I can’t stop smiling after finishing this book! I couldn’t wait for sweet Ollie to get his story. It was worth it! I adored Daniel. His humor and snark had me laughing and his defense of Ollie had my heart melting. The narration was excellent. I made myself wait for audio to come out because I really enjoyed listening to the previous books. This was another great series from one of my favorite authors!

audible cost book a star

I would have gave this book and overall 4 but Audible wasn't consistent with the voices between the books in the series. characters who had deep voices in the other books did not in their own story. as for the story itself this was one of the better of the four but there were situations when the author should have researched some of the topics they were writing about first. have you ever tried to get airline tickets at the last minute for a tropical destination?. or tried to go get a marriage license in Vegas while being that drunk?

This book sucked me in

I really got into this book, even more so as it went on. I’ve enjoyed this series and hope there’s more to come. For its genre, this is a great book.
