This is an opposites attract college romance, featuring Sawyer Price, the goalie for the college hockey team, and Noah Foster, the genius Physics major and tutor. This is the second book in the Arctic Titans of Northwood U series.

Sawyer is going to fail his Physics class, he has tried to get in contact with the best tutor at Northwood U but Noah doesn’t want to spend time tutoring jocks any more and won’t even meet with Sawyer.

They have a rather terrible chance meeting at a frat party, where a drink gets spilt all over Noah, but Sawyer is determined to not only make amends for drink mishap but also sweet talk Noah into helping him.

Sawyer begs, Nosh listens and they eventually find something Sawyer can help Nosh with in exchange for tutoring - dating lessons.

This is a very sweet book. Noah is adorable and his innocence is so endearing. It was lovely to see Sawyer grow up and believe he is finally worthy of finding love. It was great to see both of them love what makes them both unique and not feel like they need to change to fit in. Two thumbs up!

Everyone wants Noah Foster, the nerdy physics genius on the Northwood U campus, to tutor them and he can pick and choose his clients and turn away others. But Noah thinks no one wants him for a one-night-stand, let alone a relationship. The cocky Arctic Titans goalie, Sawyer Price, has the opposite problem: everyone wants him for sex but he’s failing his science courses badly. One accidental drink spill at a party provides Sawyer with the opening he needs to beg Noah to tutor him. In exchange Sawyer offers to tutor Noah in seduction and the unlikely pair become friends and more.

I’ve encountered the nerd-vs-jock and experienced-vs-virgin tropes many times, but this steamy sports romance was packaged with charm and two really decent guys. There were very few angsty roadblocks so this was nice easy read and I thoroughly enjoyed it! There isn’t a lot of sports content, especially compared with Crossing Blades (book #1), but Noah and Sawyer had a lovely dynamic and attraction together. 🎧 I quite like Curtis Michael Holland’s easy listening voice on the audio. He speaks quite slowly and I found playback at 1.2x speed worked best for me.

Charming virgin nerd / experienced jock romance!
