When Deputy US Marshal Danielle "Danny" Martin was told she'd gotten a promotion, she expected to be leading her own fugitive retrieval team. Instead, she got transferred to Pontian, Florida, of all places, and assigned to a Superhero support detail for Focus, a seemingly immortal superhero who is also one of the most famous lesbian icons on the planet.

Bad enough she's got to spend every day working with a woman she's had a crush on since she was five years old, but when she arrives at her new post, things start getting weird. It turns out that Focus asked for her by name, and it quickly becomes apparent that Focus wants to be more than just coworkers, or even friends.

After Focus has a violent reaction to Danny getting hurt in the line of duty, she starts looking into why the Superhero might be so fixated on her. She begins to suspect that seeing the future might be one of Focus's powers, but when a mission leaves her stranded thirty years in the past, right at the start of Focus's superhero career, everything becomes clear, except why the Focus in the past can barely seem to tolerate her presence.

I loved this book and recommend it for anyone who likes epic love stories or superheroes. I've read it 3 times and this new audible version is narrated very well, the voices definitely matched the characters for me.

Superheroes is so not my genre. Dragons, yeah, more my scene. Still I was a bit hesitant re whether this book would be in my wheelhouse. I so shouldn't have worried. Amazing world building. Great detail. Excellent character. Humorous. I adored it. The writing is so good, the genre doesn't matter. Read it You won't regret it.

I loved the overall story - it was so refreshing moving away from so many tropes.
The narration was good, the right narrator for this type of ‘story’
I wish the rest of the series was available on audible! I have dyslexia so reading is very hard for me. Audible has the format i can enjoy in relaxation/escape

Oh my goodness!
I am not sure there are words to describe how much I loved this book! Superheroes, time travel, aliens, dragons, and pure unadulterated love.
Molly has written a wonderful book with characters you just fall in love with and a plot that pulls you in straight away and won't let you go. I want to be friends with each and every character. The writing allows you to immerse yourself in their world and feel and experience everything as if it is right in front of you.
The added bonus is that Scatter is spicy in all the right ways. The story had me hot and sweaty and burning for more.
